Here is a pic.

Wondering about the colors of flowers it comes in? Also wanted to know if it was invasive and worth growing amongst oter flowers.

Thanks

I don't think it is. J'can sorrel is Hibiscus sabdariffa: http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/roselle.html#Description. That looks a little like what they call "Leaf of Life" in J'ca.

RE: Is this Jamaican sorrel?

I think your plant is known as Jamacian sorrel,Roselle or Hibiscus Sabdariffa. They do reseed moderately. I also grow them . They can get very tall ( I currently have one about 10 feet tall)I usually plant them at the back of my border close to a fence or building because of their height than can topple over in heavy rain or wind. They normally flower around October to January. The flowers are a beautiful burgundy color resembling a hibiscus flower.
