| Out of the blue, I have a buyer for my parents' house (I haven't even gotten around to putting it on the market yet), and I have a mass of plants to move.
In particular, is a patch of rhubarb. The patch was well established when my parents bought the house in 1960, and with care, has flourished all these years.
Now, I have buyers for the house, and they would like to close in July. They are not horticultural in any way (said they would probably mow down the flower beds), and I want to move what I can.
Will I kill the rhubarb if I dig a lot of it up and transfer it to a sunny place here in the country?
Any tips?
Thanks loads,
PS. Do deer eat rhubarb? I will be moving the plants to the country, and we have an infestation of deer.
