Raspberry advice please

Hello all, I've got an abundance of raspberry canes but no raspberries. How come? I planted the bareroot plants last Spring (a year and a half ago)-- shouldn't I be seeing some raspberries by now? Thanks in advance, Kate

How are you managing them (fertilization, pruning, etc)? Are they fall/everbearing? Have you seen any flowers?

If they've been appropriately managed you should have seen fruit by now.

If they are a floricane variety and you've been pruning them out each season you won't see any fruit (or flowers).

Murky thanks for your reply. I believe they are fall bearing raspberries. I am about to give up on them and pull them all out and start with everbearing. It seems like I should have seen some fruit this fall since I planted them a year and a half before. Thoughts? Thanks.
