Want to order on-line good quality currants and gooseberries.
Any one can recommended a good farm?
What is the best time to plant?
Should I wait till spring or fall is fine for planting?
I live in South Jersey area.
Any one have had BAD experience with any Farm, please mention them too.
Appreciated you concern, new gardener.

Personally, I prefer 4 different nurseries for currants and gooseberries. Though I am not sure if they are a good fit for you, since these are all Pacific Northwest nurseries....

The send a good quility tree and it's arrive safe.
I was hoping to find any local farm.

I ordered from Nourse Farms my very first Ben Sarek 2 years ago. I do like the service and quality. But. They are shipping in springtime.
I would like to plant in fall.
ThatТs why IТm looking for another source.

Edible Landscaping? I believe they're near Richmond on hte East Coast.

I intended to plant black currants, but held off when I learned they harbor rusts...

Here is a source in NY but it says on the site that he can't ship to NJ so you would probably have to pick them up at his farm. Greg is the same person who was responsible for getting The Governor to make growing surrants in NY legal again afer 100 years.
