American Filbert and Corkscrew Filbert

Does anybody know if a Harry Lauders Walking Stick corkscrew filbert will fertilize an American Filbert? I only have the one Am. Filbert and one corkscrew filbert, and not much more room, so I hope they I can get some nuts.

I am new to filberts but when I was researching I read that the walking stick filbert would not be a good pollenizer, sorry I can't remember where I came across that though.

HLWS *might* pollenize your other Corylus plant if bloom periods coincide and they're pollen-compatible, but it itself rarely sets and matures nuts.
