| I read on edibleplants.com that Hops leaves are edible, I ate one yesterday and was fine, but I'm told that they can be an irritant, is it the little climbing hairs perhaps? Any thoughs on the subject would be appreciated, thanks. |

I sometimes use the shoots in salads,I've also read that the shoots can be used as a aparagrss subtitute;but personally I felt that that was streaching the imagination a fair bit.
