Hyacinth Beans are they poison

Posted by Hagey z5 MI (My Page) on

We had some Hyacinth Beans in the a Demo Garden and someone came along and said they were poisonous. The beans we planted this year were from last year. On the package we bought we did not see a warning, or we would never had planted them. Does anyone know if they are and what where can we find this info on the internet? Thanks. Betty

Hi there,
See below for link with good info. It explains exactly what parts of the plant are poisonous.

Hope this helps!

Hi!
Thanks Momtoej. The link you recommended was very helpful. I am passing it on to the head of the Demo Garden. It sure does answer all the questions we had. Betty
