Looking for the best edibles for Toronto area

| Any suggestions for what to grow in the Toronto area? Have decent somewhat clay soil over here. Zone 5a and the summers are warm and humid. Looking for tasty edible plants (not interested in trees at the moment) that make the best use of space in full sun - shade. |
