Is Bishop's Weed Really Edible?

I was just reading an old post and someone mentioned that you can eat the leaves of bishop's weed (Aegopodium Podagraria). Is this the case? My neighbor has it overtaking her yard and I have planted some in an island up against my house, where I can hopefully control it better. We could eat salad for the rest of our lives! Anyone know what it tastes like? I have the variegated kind, sure would make a pretty presentation...
