Thyme growing beside deadly nightshade. Can I still use it?

| I had some deadly nightshade grow beside my thyme patch. I wasn't able to pull it in time so the fruits went into the ground. Will this affect my thyme at all? Can I still use my thyme for cooking? Thanks. |

| Your thyme won't pick up any toxins from the nightshade. The only problem would be if you accidently included some of the toxic plant leaves or stems with your thyme. |
