Thyme growing beside deadly nightshade. Can I still use it?

I had some deadly nightshade grow beside my thyme patch. I wasn't able to pull it in time so the fruits went into the ground. Will this affect my thyme at all? Can I still use my thyme for cooking? Thanks.

Your thyme won't pick up any toxins from the nightshade. The only problem would be if you accidently included some of the toxic plant leaves or stems with your thyme.
