Achranthes bidentata, Oxknees

Has anyone grown this? It is from Asia, related to amaranth. It is supposed to have edible leaves and seeds, and also medicinal uses. It makes a nice rounded plant. I'm wondering how it compares with amaranth with edible leaves, or with Good King Henry Chenopodium in taste and usefulness as a potherb.

Sorry, I left out the y. I am going to grow this plant this year, it is in the Amaranth family and perennial in warm climates, I don't know if it will make it here.

I can report back when I see if it does well, and is useful.

Here is a link that might be useful: pfaf
