I am beginning to think going to large shows on the first day means 2 things 1) a great number of stalls won't be set up, and 2) no crowds. So sometmes the first is worth the 2nd....never been to CdaBlooms on day 1 before so don't know if this applies for sure! I'm thinking of going on Thurs.

Yep,Yep,Yep! I'm volunteering on Friday and wandering around on Saturday. If anyone sees me please give a gardenweb shoutout....too bad the gardenweb t-shirts are just out....we could all show our love for the "web" by wearing one...and that way one "webber" could recognize another! Maybe next year???? Great gardening to all, Justine |

I have a request for those of you who are going..we can't make it this year, but we'll be attending as many of the GTA plant swaps as we can. Would some of you be so kind as to set aside any freebie veggie seed packets that you might get as a result of going to Canada Blooms? The year we went, we came home with a few freebies on tables at the Marketplace and I think also other places. And bring them to the plant swaps if they're things you don't need? Thanks much and I'll be bringing some flower seeds as well that I'm clueless at how to grow (which is most flowers). Grazie, Julianna

I plan to attend. I've even booked a day off work. I usually get a few good ideas there, some of which come to fruition in my garden. I just got back from Puerto Vallarta. My mind is swirling with ideas that I can incorporate. Maybe I can blend some of these with those seen at Canada Blooms.

You all sound so excited. I'm not sure which day I will be going was leaning toward opening day but maybe day two will be better choice.. I always bring my neighbour and could always rent a few arms to bring home all the things she buys.. Last year it was a cast iron table and on the bus . We laughed our heads of. This yr I think I should take the car..or maybe rent a van.. It would be Nice to bump into some of the spring plant swapper. I will look for garden webb shirts.
