 o
type of flower - wish I had a photo

I am hoping one of you can help me identify this plant

About 14 inches on July 2nd
Think it is an annual
Has leaves like an iris, long and skinny
Tiny blooms of white with purple tinge like a malva zebrina

That is all I can think of. Any ideas

Brian

I searched the handy 'plant identifier' to no avail but perhaps you have more identifiers now to match up against this websites list of botanicals....

Here is a link that might be useful: HodgePodge Plant Identifier

Hi. Are you sure it's an annual? It sounds like Tradescantia by the description of the flower. But that's not an annual. It does have swords for leaves as the iris does.
