RE: WANTED: houseplant seeds

I've started many house plants with seeds I had around the Kitchen.
I planted a small sweet potato and it produced a really great plant-very bushy with thick dark green leaves and red veins. I have pots and pot of orange trees, lemon, grapefruit and pomello. I usually put these outside for the summer as they love the heat. The leaves on all of these are very shiny and they will get as big as I will let them.
I have an avacado tree, a pineapple plant and an assortment of smaller, fern-like ones that came from a spices that I had-like caraway and anise. I like the foliage on mung beans and they flower!
Just a few ideas.
My kids got a real kick out of it, when I checked my potpurri mixture and found seeds at the bottom. I don't know what they are..but some are growing.
Good luck and happy hunting.

Sylvia
