I'm looking for seeds of the chocolate plant (Theobroma cacao)

I believe you need fresh off the tree seeds for this. Check any tropical plant observatories, that's a possibility.
My experience with this plant was... they need to be kept in VERY warm temps, with VERY high humidity. Warmer than the average home for sure. Both times growing it was a real let down- and of course they declined and died.
