| The Montreal Botanical Gardens will be again hosting a Seedy Saturday weekend, this year February 13 & l4, 10AM-4PM. This will be a fun weekend! |

| Thanks Donna for posting this notice. I've never gone have you? If so can you tell me how the seed exchange table works. Do I have to have seeds to exchange or can I simply buy seeds from other people? |

| I went last year and it is only growers selling seeds. The botanical Garden website describes it as " Come discover the wealth of our plant heritage and meet growers of organic flower, herb, medicinal plant and heritage vegetable seeds" . It was lots of fun, a lot of people, and at least a dozen sellers of all types and sorts of seeds. Seeds of Diversity had a booth there as well with seeds, publications for sale, and information. There was no admission for entry to the sale, but parking was about $l0 as I recall. It was a good time and I found a few new seed sellers who were very happy to share their knowledge. |

Sounds like a nice thing to do. I'm already excited about the upcoming growing season and this will just add to the excitement.

| I am interested to meet with gardeners in Montreal once per year to trade seeds and plants. If you are interested, we can set up a mailing list to see if it is possible to organize a meeting in 2012. Thank you for the information of the seed sales at the MBG. |
