My good friend Keith just gathered a big bunch of Rose of Sharon seeds from the bushes in his yard, and just had to bring me over a coffee can full. He said he picked the coldest day of the year to do this and almost froze his fingers doing it LOL.

Believe me when I say these little guys are ready to grow. Germination only took a week. I am going to train these into standards, so they take up less room in my garden.

If anyone is interested, I will trade these seeds for anything interesting ... surprise me. Just e-mail your address and I will forward you as many as you would like.

By the way, the flowers are white, with pinky/rose centers (don't know the cultivar name).
