| This is my first posting on this particular forum , so am just learning the seed trading etiquette. I am looking for seeds of 'Magic Hollyhock'. It is a rich purplish pink with deeper glossy purple veins.
I have many seeds that I could trade but am not organized yet with a list or seed packets. If anyone has these seeds perhaps we could arrange a trade. carib2008 |

| Ten days with no reply... The "Magic Hollyhock" you describe is not actually a hollyhock (genus Alcea). It's a named variety of Malva sylvestris. More common cultivars include 'Mystic Merlin', 'Zebrina' and 'Windsor Castle'. The variety may be an introduction of Thompson & Morgan, since it is listed on their U.K. site. Anyway, it is really unlikely that anyone will have this particular variety. I'm sure you'd find Zebrina or Mystic Merlin if your heart isn't set on "Magic Hollyhock". Bev |
