WANTED: Named African Violets (Red) or Chimeras

Posted by hkmp21 (My Page) on

I have white, pink, violet and all in between. I would like to try growing some red african violets. All the violets in my collection are named. If anyone has precious red or other similar african violets i would like to trade with you.

Would love to start growing chimeras too!

I will add a complete list of my named plants soon. Thanks for looking.

RE: WANTED: Named African Violets (Red) or Chimeras

Where are you located? I'm in Toronto, mind, the only red named variety I have is rob's slap happy, which hasn't bloomed yet, and a few leaves rooting of decelles flamingo.
The one chimera I have (and plenty of it) is pixie runaround sport.
I know someone in Toronto as well who may have more reds.

Let me know if you're interested.
