| I just divided my cardamom plant and I have several pieces leftover.
This is a tropical plant and cannot survive outside over the winter - it makes a nice houseplant with it's scented leaves. I summer mine outdoors and give it a nice bright window for the winter. The pieces are small enough to fit into a padded mailer (it grows quickly enough that you should have a nice sized plant within a couple of years), so postage costs would only be $1.10 or $1.86. The leaves might get ratty, but the roots will be fine and they'll put out new leaves quickly. I'm not looking for anything in particular, so make me an offer (plants only, no seeds) and if I don't have it I'll consider it - it doesn't have to be an unusual plant or a houseplant. Your offer should be something small enough and tough enough to survive a few days in a padded mailer though. Anything fragile isn't a good idea. (no SASE requests please) BP |
