    Sydseeds,
Did you still want the yellow variegated hosta? I must have read your original post too quickly because I only remembered you asking for the yellow variegated one and then didn't see it on this new post. I'll bring the lime green and yellow variegated hostas.
    Heather

  • sydseeds

Ceraholt - I'm such a hosta-beaner - I thought it was one type a lime green and varigated yellow hosta, and just shortened its name on my 'getting' listing - but if I had a choice between the two (now that I'm not as clueless as I appear to be) I'd choose the plain old lime green one.

Only 21 more days 'til the swap!

  • skraps

So far have only aranged two swaps.
Mutts-fan- white astible for a sprite

Tomgyrill--oastade Fern and maiden hair for two Hibiscuis

skraps-I would love some of your strawflower seed-the kids would get a kick out of them. Check out my list and see if anything interests you.

sydseeds-you mean keener, I had to look up the definition of slip. I'll bring both hostas for you and if I'm not being too greedy, I would love the surprise of finding out which clematis group 3 you have. The ville de lyon that I got from you last fall is doing great...lots of blooms.
    Thanks,
    Heather

    Hi everyone,
I'd like to come also, but I've never been to Markham. Can I get there by TTC from West Toronto?

  • sydseeds

Mari11 - I'm coming from the north so I'm not certain but since it's right where Unionville High School is, I suspect TTC/Go would be how the high school students are bussed so faily confident that it is a well serviced bus route.

Peatpod - a week ago I wouldn't have had an answer, but now I know - yellow!

  • peatpod

Syd I wouldnt mind a few extra yellow cannas .. is there anything you would like on my list. Oh and by the way .. my clematis you wanted didnt take to the ground layering I attempted. I will try again in the fall and see what happens for the spring swap :o)

I wanted to know if there was any interest in my yucca and a house plant called calf's tongue. They are large and if no one wants them, I'm not going to take up precious space with them. Please let me know and I will bring them if anyone is interested.

Regarding TTC to Markham swap (Markham Theatre/UHS):

Take TTC to Finch Subway. Transfer to York Region Bus #1 (goes along Yonge or Bayview and then east along Hwy 7). Requires a separate fare, I think its $2.50 for an adult. Get off the bus at Town Centre Blvd and its a less than 5 min walk to the Markham Theatre parking lot.

    Hope this helps Mari11!

ceraholt .. Wendy2shoes is looking for yucca for her front yard. She wont be attending the Markham swap but will be at the Halton swap and she has very little to trade .. if no one is interested in it .. dont pitch it Im sure she will find room for it in her garden.
