WANTED: Yellow Hollyhock Seeds

Posted by cactusmcharris 4 / Interior BC (My Page) on

Hi Folks,

I've got the light pink, the dark maroon and the white hollyhocks here and would like to surprise my wife with some yellow ones - I've looked everywhere in Kamloops and haven't found them. Can anyone send me some in exchange for the hollyhock seeds I have or postage?

Thank you,

Jeff

As an added inducement to share sought seeds with me, I will also include rooted cuttings (well, they're in the process of rooting, although now's not the best time) of Aeonium balsamniferum, which really lives up to its binomial - in warm weather, the rosettes smell like balsam. And heck, even an edition of Espinas y Flores will be included.

Thanks again.

I have just harvested seeds from Alcaea rugosa if that is of any help.....will have to look up what you are offering on Google. Undoubtedly not winter hardy in zone 5 Ontario but I do have lots of windowsills for winter storage.
