When I was a child my mother had a huge garden of RED 4 o'clocks, I would like to reproduce that along my front walkway. For the past 3 years I have purchased various brands of RED 4 o'clocks, only to have them come up pink or fuschia. A botanist friend told me that it is because of hybridization and that my best bet is to find heritage seeds from RED 4 o'clocks - these were dark scarlet red, velvety looking, not pink in the slightest. Does anyone have any seeds like this?
thanks
Will
