When we moved last summer I didn't take this plant with me, thinking it would be easy to replace. I was wrong. The typical garden center variety is a newer, taller, mounding/clumping variety, not the old fashioned spreader.

Does anyone have seeds from the good old-fashioned yellow perennial alyssum "Basket of Gold"?

If you wish to take a chance on 2003 seed, I have some. The seeds originated from Garden's North.

These have spread big time over the summer, and I'm expecting a bigger display this spring. Seed pack I have says dwarf compact. I have at least thirty seeds from last year's package.
