I'm usually the first to decry the blatant commercialization and rampant greed that puts a stranglehold on North American culture starting on November 1. These Santa surprises are a nice way to do some giving without buying into all that cr*p.

I would also like some organic bell pepper seeds in different colours, i.e. ivory, red, orange, yellow and green. I would love some bianca pepper seeds.

I would also like some Hopi pale gray squash seeds. I have heard that they keep the best out of all the winter squash but have been unable to find any. I'm planning on growing some hubbard, acorn and pepper squash too and can use organic seeds for those as well.

I would like some seeds of California Poppies, Dill, Bronze Fennel, and a special perennial poppy. The special poppy is an Oriental and it is a beautiful salmon colour. If any of your elves are growing this one in their gardens I would be more than happy to get some seeds.

Santa just told me he had some Cosmos for you. They are seeds from Daydream grown in one of the elve's gardens and there may be variations since there's a lot of cross pollination going on. If you want some from this elve's private stash, just send me your e-mail and Santa will have a little chat with the elf about being good and sharing. :O)

I googled Cosmos "Phillipine" and the only hits were from photos on DG and they sure don't look like Cosmos. They look exactly like a Cosmidium "Philippine", which is a California native wildflower.

It has taken me a couple of moves, and a couple of years to be ready to "dig-in-da-dirt" again, and here I go again.

All I want for Christmas are any seeds to make my special garden lush and abundant with beautiful plants and lovely herbs, so whatever Santa has to give this very excited gardener, I will accept with much gratitude! I am planning to do "Winter-sowing" BIG TIME!
