I got a new digital camera for the holidays. My old camera is in almost perfect condition. It is a basic, starter type digital camera. Not fancy but functional. I never had a problem with it. Very simple to use, take a picture, plug the USB into the camera and the other end into the computer, click on the software, and it will start to upload them to your computer where you can print them or edit them (take out red eye, etc.)
