I am looking for an older model (60's - 70's) John Deere garden tractor in good condition. I am located in Central FL but am willing to travel out-of-state for the right tractor. Email or call 407-491-0322

I actually bought one today. Its a 1986 John Deere 316 garden tractor. Going rate varies depending on model and condition. I dont know about everyone else but I like them(older models) because they actually look like tractors as opposed to having the domestic riding lawnmower look. I think the newer John Deere GT's look lame compared to the old ones.

Here is a link that might be useful: my JD

My son in law has a John Deere 212 garden tractor with a 48" mower deck and snow blower. I did some restoration on it two years ago and it is in very good condition. It runs well, has good tires and he has used it to mow his 2-1/2 acre lawn for the past two years. The only thing it needs is a new primary and secondary belt installed. email at tve12001@yahoo.com
