Well, isn't that interesting? I'd venture a guess that many people do not know that DAmes Rocket is not native...perhaps you would enlighten us? I, for one, love the dames rocket and would love to hear more information on it...I live in a national park and we go on hikes to remove invasive species, but dames rocket hasn't been discussed as an invasive species...
It's not native but I also agree it is beautiful. In Missouri, it is listed as Invasive but only in disturbed areas.I was confused also when we started our first wildflower patch. I found many sites and books listing "Missouri Wildflowers" but I found out later that didn't mean they were "native Missouri Wildflowers" I planted many that weren't native. It is a learning curve and we are in the process of creating another area with only "natives." What is native is a finite list. What is a wildflower is open for discussion.
