WANTED: Northern/Western Rattlesnake Plantain

Posted by MikeyBob (My Page) on

I want goodyera repens, goodyera repens var. ophioides, and goodyera oblongifolia. (And other jewel orchids.)

I have downy rattlesnake plantain (goodyera pubescens) to trade, and lots of other native stuff ... trilliums, pink ladies slippers, ginseng, black/sweet birch ... too much to list but I'm sure there's something growing in my hollow that you'd like! I also have other (non-native) plants I could trade including hellebores, heucheras, and tiarellas.

Hi MikeyBob,
I have several flasks of G. oblongifolia developing now. They should be grown to seedling size, vernalized and ready to be planted by next spring. Would you be interested in some seedlings?

If so, what types of native orchids do you have aside from those already mentioned.

Best,
Ross

I think I may already have a trade for goodyera oblongifolia, but will keep your offer in mind.

I am not aware of other orchids here. I used to have green fringed orchids but they all died ... I think it was due to some odd weather.

Hi MikeyBob,

I am interested in your natives. I have natives and I have some new to me just found and don't have all the names yet. (I can get pictures)

If interested in a swap, please let me know.
