WANTED: Oregon Grape

Posted by scot z5 (My Page) on

Anyone in the PNW have some suckers or seedlings to trade. I am in central MI and can get most anything native here in trade as well as the stuff on my list. Its taken me many years and quite a bit of $ to finally find a good microclimate for this plant on my property and I would like to create a colony of it.

RE: WANTED: Oregon Grape

I have both the low and tall Oregon grape (Mahonia nervosa and M. aquifolium, respectively). Which would you like? M. nervosa likes dry shade and M. aquifolium likes full sun. The M. aquifolium is from seeds planted last winter, so are still quite small, and I can ship several. The M. nervosa are all full-grown plants, so would cost me more to ship. However, I just planted some seeds, and when they grow, I can send you several, probably in the spring. Send me an e-mail.
