WANTED: plants for birds

Posted by ArborBluffGirl 6 (My Page) on

I've posted this on the plant trade forum but wanted to cross reference here. I am creating a "basket" for raffle at an upcoming Garden Club convention. I have several items for bird/birding such as a house, thistle, feeder, and a small bath. I was hoping to include plants that feed or provide cover for birds such as bottlebrush buckeye, elderberry, serviceberry, chokeberry, lobelias and am open to suggestions for zone 6 plants. I already have coneflowers. Please heck my trade list and let me know if we can work out a trade....

RE: WANTED: plants for birds

I have some 2 year old Elderberry (blue/black) and some seedling Spicebush (Lindera benzoin).

From your tradelist I would be interested in Celdandine Poppy plants, or Twin Leaf plants or Epigaea Repens seed pods.
