HAVE: Mixed Native Prairie Grasses

Posted by taylmat_OK z6B Tulsa (My Page) on Thu, Dec 22, 05 at 1:53
| I have a few pounds of Big Bluestem, Indian Grass, Little Bluestem and Buffalo Grass mixed together. I would like to trade for some native forbs--penstemmons, coreopsis and oenothera (evening primrose) in particular.
I can trade it out in envelopes, in ounces or a whole pound if you wish. Look at my trade list and make me an offer. Thanks! |

Hi Matt, Do you have any Aquilegia canadensis seeds? I noticed it on your "Haves" and "Wants". I have Oenothera biennis and Passiflora incarnata. Sharon |

| I have one package left od A. canadensis, but it is a dwarf variety that seeds true, I'm growing it on the north face of a fence in bright shade and it thrives there in lower moisture silty loam. I'd certainly trade that for some O. biensis as well. |

Hi Matt, I realize that this post is a bit old, but I was wondering if you still have all those grasses. Yesterday I made a post on the Native Plant Exchange for Forbs for grasses and then today I was going deeper down the list and found your post. You can check my post for the forbs that I have in bulk or here is a link to my list. I have some other natives in smaller amounts too. I do have some penstemon that is not on my list, I'd have to check what kind it is if your interested in that. I'm at http://members.gardenweb.com/members/exch/catrina Thanks, Catrina |
