I have a few bulbs of several different varieties to trade. I would really prefer other rain lilies in trade but give my trade list a lookie for other ideas.
Now as any good father would mention these are my babies ( I collect gingers, Crinums and rain lilies all other plants are great but these are my favorites!!!) so you better have something really nice in trade ;o)

I do have a hybrid but she is new and not for tradin' ;o)
Lots of rain lilies come from Tx. like Habranthus texanus which is a real pretty small flowered yellow variety. Others are from Mexico and ... Andes? .. Peru? .. but the last ones are very rare.

Hi Mike,
I'd kill to find Z. atamosco, native from Maryland through Florida. Any chance you have one?

Also I recently found out Z. grandiflora is native (not introduced) to Florida and New Orleans according to the usda. I had no idea.

I planted some Z. atamosco seeds past summer, and 2 bulbs. Not an easy plant to grow in colder climates. But I have bunch of other rain lily seeds, and related. I just don't know what they are? Don't think they are native? They might be more towards South America?

Gorgeous plants they are...I just had to comment. My parents, who live in florida...get dozens of them in their yard every rainy season. Unfortunately...they won't grow up here! April

Mike,
Been a while since I last chatted with ya. What varieties do you have to offer? Like you, I guard my rain lilies carefully. But, I got some seeds from my Butterfly vine/Yellow orchid vine that you could grow there. It's drop dead gorgeous. Would you be interesting in trading?

E-me about "crinums".

Mike was hit hard in New Orleans and Mississipi by Katrina. I don't know if he's posting much any more? I do think that rain lilies were among the only things in his garden to survive the hurricane. When I was visiting the Mississippi coast this summer, I saw the darkest pink (almost purple) grandiflora I have ever seen. I was sorely tempted to collect it from a non-park wild area. Plant Delights has over 20 new hybrids. I finally found atamasco on a native plant rescue locally.
