Use bold, large-leaved plants to create intriguing contrast in a garden where they’re least expected
Full StoryI have a dwarf alberta in a pot, it is 1 1/2 foot tall. The Sum and Substance hosta grew about 2 feet tall, and is quite beautiful. The problem is that the previous owner planted it in a place that gets sun most of the day, and while it grows beautifully in the spring and early summer; by the time it gets pretty warm here the plant starts to look ragged. I'm not going to trade the whole plant away, but it needs dividing and if you are willing to come and do a little digging it should provide you with a beautiful plant, the rest I will translant in my back yard that gets some shade. I also have a couple of nice japanese lace maples, one is about 1' 5".
What I'd like in trade is some bamboo, clump would be nice, but I'm willing to take any kind. I live in Federal Way.
