WANTED: Wanted: English Laurel

Looking to set up an English Laurel Hedge around my new house.

Many feel it is a nuisance plant, I grew up with one and it's great for noise abatement. My new house is 25 feet from Highway 195 so it would be nice to get some.

So What I'm looking for is any starters or cuttings, have grown many from cuttings before on the window sill.

I'm in the Palouse area.

Another place to check is your local park department. I know they prune laurel in the Spring. I bet they would give you plenty of cuttings.

I have a laurel hedge. You can have all the cuttings that you would like! I can't wait to get rid of it, but it will be awhile before I can. I will be at the green elephant trade and the Brinnon trade. It may be hard for me to bring them to the Brinnon trade though.

Tell me more about starting it from cuttings. I just cut a bunch and stuck them in pots outside, nothing else. How do you succeed in rooting them?
