Azehav,

When do you take cuttings to root and what is your preferred method?

I have a red rose that was a fall cutting in a load of compost. I found it in midwinter when turning the pile, and plugged it into the ground and it grew.

I'd like to try other roses this way, but I'm not sure when's the best time to take cuttings in the PNW.

Regards,

Jim
