Hi
I have hesitated a lot about having this plant in my garden (it takes so much space) but I can't help being seduced by its size. Does anyone have a start that would like to trade? I have somethings that might interest you. Drop me a line and I will do my very best. Thanks

Hi Flora,
If you don't get any divisions in trade, I have seeds of G. manicata that are finished with their winter-long cold stratification & also just finished with a 3 week cold/damp in the fridge. Just brought them out. Should be ready a little later this spring. :)

Yes, I'd love that. I will bring some seeds to see if you would like any. Also, I have a grass that is very pretty (don't know the name that is why I have not offered it to anyone) to see if you'd like it. Thanks a lot

Dear Flora,

So nice to have finally met you Saturday at the Green Elephant.

I will have some gunnera seedlings for the fall Green Elephant. Honestly they will be so little, that you might rather go out and buy one to get started. For such a huge plant, Gunnera starts out as the tiniest of seedlings and grows very slowly.
