HAVE: pots to trade for plants

To trade in Olympia April 24, 2010

HAVE:

huge collection of pots (all sizes) & trays (2 sizes, several different patterns of holes) donated to our non-profit camp in Auburn for my gardening efforts in zone 7 foothills at over 500ft.

WANT: labeled plants that are:

*low-maintenance (don't need a lot of fussing such as deadheading, cutting back, or dividing every 2 years to look good)

*drought tolerant once established

*container plants for established whiskey barrels or hanging pots

*okay in rocky, clay soil

*evergreen groundcovers & shrubs (cuttings okay)

*all the various light conditions & moisture as well, though many places are part shade.

**if at all possible pot up well enough to hold until Memorial Day Family Camp volunteers can transplant them. If not, make it obvious to me which plants need re-potting or heeled in compost.

Please label plants w/ at least a common name. If possible add light level sun, part sun, shade. If the plant doesn't take PM sun indicate that as well.

Contact me if the Olympia date doesn't work for you & you'd like to make a swap pots for plants.

Will you have 2x2x5' room in your truck for the pots & trays for you & your mom? I'll bring your more if you've space. I numbered your plants, so if you need me to reduce the list our top three shrubs would be #2 Leucothoe, #5 burning bush, #6 hydrangea.

Trees:
1. monkey puzzle tree (1) gallon

Shrubs:
2. doghobble (Leucothoe fontanesia 'Gerard's Rainbow' (2) 4"
3. Kerria japonica 'Flore pleno' (1)gallon
4. two of *Pernettya mucronata (4) 4" as Ed says plant 2 or more to get berries http://www.humeseeds.com
5. both of burning bush (2) 4"
6. lacecap hydrangea cutting (2) gallon
7. currant, culinary cultivar seedling (1) 2-gallon, (4) gallon (is same as your mom or different?)
