WANTED: pink jasmine

Hello,
We been on vacation when we came back our pink jasmine looks like this.The root and stem seems to be fine.How to retrieve this plant.Please help.Do I have to apply any plant food.I am keeping it inside because still its very cold in here.

It probably just went dormant if it say it is a perennial on the care tag. If it is a tropical variety then it could have got frozen with no point of return. Try putting compost on top and see if it will come back. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, i made compost tea and i see two small leaves coming out of it, and the vine stems are green so I hope the plant will be okay soon.
