WANTED: Plants for new beds - Seattle area

Posted by orangespot Seattle WA (My Page) on

I have some new beds that I'd like to plant. Mostly shade but some sun and part shade areas.

Would love herbs, hostas, irises, and probably anything you've got that can help me get started!

I have the following for trade:
- solomon's seal
- rose bushes (these really need new homes! various shades of pink)
- poppies that I could gather seeds from (including tall, double, fringed, pinks, purples, reds)
- spring bulbs (a grab bag of things I haven't labeled including mini daffodils & tulips and other things I haven't been able to identify!)
- sedum (assorted)

Let me know if you'd like pictures of anything! I haven't had time to research what most things are.

Thanks.

Hello Jill,

I live in Ballard too! Is your solomon's seal varigated? I have bulbets from scaling an oriental lily called 'Excelsior', some NOID white with purple irises, japanese irises and calla lilies. I can send links or pics.
