WANTED: cat tail seed heads

Posted by plantknitter 8 (My Page) on

we would like to get some cat tails established in a pond that used to be in shade but is now open to the sun.
Does anyone have access to some OLD ripe cattail seed heads from last year?
If you can collect them now, I will love to trade for them at the next trade, or come get them now if you live close.
thanks

Hi Judy,
Would you be interested in miniture cat tails? My Mom has some in her pond and I'll be going over in a few weeks.

I could use mini cat tails for myself, for a small water bowl. But I am primarily interested in the seed heads of full size cattails right now to spread the ripe fluff around my daughter's pond.
thanks
