WANTED: Fall Plant Swaps?

Posted by lindseya (My Page) on

I've just discovered this board through the Seattle Times article, unfortunately a little late for the May swaps. Are there traditionally any fall swaps? I'm in Shoreline, WA and would visit any in the Seattle area. Thanks, and what a great forum!

Dear Lindseya,

Below is the link to the Green Elephant Plant Swap in Redmond. It's twice a year, first Saturdays in November and March. I'd love to see you there.

It's not unusual in September, for someone to host a plant exchange at a private home. I am sure your post will prompt a few GW members to consider hosting in late summer.

These exchanges are really fun and everybody goes home with a bunch of new plants. I will have a lot to bring to the late summer and fall trades this year.

Dear Lindseya,
There is also a fall trade in Seattle around the first Sat. in Oct.

I'm planning on hosting a swap this fall in Sept. Keep an eye on this forum for more information as the time gets closer.
