WANTED: What's a good lawn seed for Seattle?

I planted Rough and Ready ecolawn 2 years ago thinking "drought/shade tolerant," right? Trouble is, there's no drought (Duh!) and it grows too high too fast!

Since I now have to replant part of it, I'm looking for a seed mix that will do well beneath cedar/pine trees, won't grow high, or turn brown in late Summer. It's a tall order, I know. Does anybody have a suggestion?

I have had good luck with the "orange bag" (for shady areas) at McLendon's. (And, at my former and more sunny home, used their "blue bag" with good success). You may want to post this on the "Northwestern Gardening" forum for more ideas.
