This is a wild sedge grass that grows in boggy places. It is 8-40" tall, with 2 or 3" wide white fluffy plumes.

If someone can find a ripe seedhead, don't bother cleaning it.

Yes, I have some heads of cotton grass, and a bag of seeded fluff, as well, so I have some to spare! LOL! However, it is our local variety that I believe to be E. Scheuchzeri. It grows here on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska in the marshy areas. It has a single head on it. Send an email if you are interested in trading.
