St. Charles Borromeo grade school, in Tacoma at 7112 S. 12th St. (West on 12th S. almost to Jackson), has replaced a number of windows. The old windows are going to the landfill on Friday unless someone comes to get them. Maybe you can use some? I am using some to build a greenhouse.

They are single pane, about 46" x 66", 4 parallel panes of glass in a steel frame. A few have one pane that swings open, most don't. Last I saw, there were about 35 of them.

If you want some, you will find them on the West side of the school building. Turn in off 12th just before the flashing crosswalk sign and go straight back, you'll find them. Please leave any you don't want neatly stacked against the wall. The kids are breaking any that are left lying down.

I am relaying this information for the school, but not directly involved (except that I took some for myself). They'd love for people to come take them & keep them out of the landfill.
