    Jim,
If your birch is not spoken for, can you save it for me? (puhlease?)
I can bring you big hosta(s) and a huchera or two.

    Dear Shilpa,

You can divide, but I have had great success cutting them back and letting them come back from the roots, while rooting the cuttings over winter in compost, 100% take--quick way to make a lot of new heucheras. So just bring me the cuttings.

    Best,
    Jim

    Dear Shilpa,
Yes I'll save a birch for you.
The heucheras need not be rooted, you can just make uttings and save your original plant.
    Best Regards,
    Jim

Hi Jim. I have 3 Japanese Painted Ferns... var pictum, 'Ghost' and 'Applecourt'. They are not large yet so divisions would be in 4-in pots I'm assuming. I also have a Penstemon 'Pikes Peak Purple'. If you are interested, I would love to trade for your Anthryscus sylvestris 'Ravenswing', Thalictrum rochebrunnianum and Alstomeria pink and maybe a piece of Horseradish. Let me know. Thank you! Michele

Jim, what is the date of the GE fall trade? The Seattle Tree Fruit Society has a show November 1st I want to attend (I have an apple I need to ID). If the dates don't conflice, I probably have some cedar seedlings and seeds for yellow Zucchini (gold rush) and green zucchini as well. I'd be interested in your Ligularia dentate and the Chinese lantern flowers...no dahlias available until Spring.

    Hi Jim -

Is your magenta bee balm gone? Let me know if you still have any bee balm left and can give you red western cedars for them. I'll also take a horseradish cutting and the crazy daisy, I just planted some garlic and have some left over, would you like garlic cloves?

    Thanks, Kelly
