Yes, Thanx Patty - it was great, again! That Chili and the berry cake were especially fantastic. Several friends I invited showed up and also went away thrilled - and ready for the next Swap.

I've already planted over a dozen plants that were just destined to fill holes in new and old beds. I can't believe so much was left at 4 PM! Thanx to all for bringing a great variety of plants, seed and garden stuff. Can't wait to get those big planter boxes full of fall/winter food plants and showy Perennials.

Am a happy gardener once again - OK it doesn't take much! Already visualizing the fresh blooms next Spring thru Summer from what received.

I'm reading your responses and in a quandry if I will be doing one next spring or not...I was considering taking the next year off and letting someone else here in Portland give it a try...Travis said he would be interested. That way I can visit with everyone for a change. But who knows, I may have another one anyway...theres a lot of time to think about it. I so loved having you all over.

By the way...pdxjules it was good to see you again! I only regret that I did not have time to really visit with folks...it's such a busy time when one is the hostess. I'm still looking for spots for my new plantlets...looks like I need to tear out the veggie garden for the winter and make it a stock bed for now (lol).
