WANTED: A palm tree suitable for this area?

Hi
I guess it'd have been a good idea to find a name for it first but I figured that if someone had such a thing for trade, I would not need a name :)
So, if I were to be so lucky, could you drop me a note and I will (promise you) find something for you in my garden--or I will die trying (almost). Thanks

RE: WANTED: A palm tree suitable for this area?

Flora,
I've got a BUNCH of Trachycarpus fortunei/Windmill palm seedlings---this is one of the best for this region. They're 3 y.o. seedlings, about a foot tall. The larger ones in the nursery are spendy, but the smaller ones will take a while to reach landscape size. You are welcome to a couple, if you like. Consider it a birthday gift. :o)
No trade needed.

Hi Lisa: While I was writing the message in the back of my mind I was wondering if you would be the one to answer. My intuition proved to be right. You are such a sweetie. I will e-mail you today or tomorrow. Thanks so much.
