HAVE: Brugmansia Cuttings and Info at Green Elephant swap

Have you grown a brugmansia yet?! These plants from the pepper/tomato/potato/petunia family have an exotic beauty to enhance your garden. The blooms are wonderful and their evening fragrance is heavenly...any wonder they're nicknamed Angel Trumpets? Or that in Latin America they're called Queen of the Night?!

Several brugmansia enthusiasts will be getting together at the Green Elephant plant swap on November 3rd to trade cuttings. There will be extra cuttings to share with others who are interested.

If enough visitors give advance indication they'd like to hear a brief talk about brugs, where they come from, how they're grown in the Puget Sound area (greenhouse NOT required), what nurseries specialize in them, what forums and brug society sites are available and also see a demonstration of how brugs are propagated, I will put information together for you. In any case, our enthusiasts will be on hand to talk about our experiences growing them.

Please respond to this thread or email me if you would like to see this talk take place:

We'll look forward to seeing you there.
