WANTED: Green Elephant info please

If I can get off work that day
and find a ride I would like
to come,I also would like to
know how far Redmond is from
Portland,and is it ok since I
have no plants.I have only
lived here for a year and did
not garden this year

From Portland, you go about 170 miles north to Seattle, then about 12 miles east to Redmond.

The hosts of the G.E. have said that you can come without plants, but it would be great to bring something to share (like munchies).
